Rockingham Senior High School is a Year 7 – 12 Independent Public School, which sets its own strategic directions and has authority for day-to-day decision making, thereby placing it in an ideal position to make decisions that best cater to our students.
At Rockingham Senior High School we provide excellent academic opportunities for all students, in a caring environment. Students choose from a wide range of courses designed to meet their individual needs and aspirations, including our Approved Specialist Programs in Basketball, Netball and Maritime studies, as well as the purposely designed Academic Curriculum Extension (ACE) Program, the Focus Rugby League Program, Music Program and Students at Educational Risk (SAER) Program. The true spirit of our school lies in the interactions of its students and staff, along with the well-established Pastoral Care approach of the school. We nurture the “whole child” to attain their personal best so that they are able to achieve the school mission to ‘develop the understandings, skills and attitudes relevant to their individual needs, thereby fulfilling their potential and contributing to the development of our society’.
