Adass Israel (Boys campus)

The Adass Israel School provides a general education for boys and girls from Prep to Year 12. The Girls’ Campus (Prep to Year 12) and Boys’ Campus (Prep to Year 8) are located at Elsternwick and the Senior Boys’ Campus at Ripponlea. The school espouses the orthodox Jewish beliefs, values and lifestyle. It caters primarily for members of the Adass Israel Community in Melbourne. The vast majority of students enter the School at Prep level after completing Adass Israel Preschool. The school provides pathways to further education and employment and aims to produce graduates who are informed, thinking, committed and contributing members of the community imbued with Orthodox Jewish values and who conduct themselves in the Orthodox Jewish lifestyle. Throughout their school life, student involvement in community activities is strongly encouraged and facilitated. The general educational program is delivered via the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) curriculum in the primary school. In the Junior Secondary, VELS is supplemented by a number of Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses. The Senior Secondary School programs are conducted through Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL).
