Yesodei Hatorah College

Yesodei HaTorah is an independent religious Jewish day School for Boys which has been established to service both the religious and academic aspirations of its community. At the centre of its educational aspirations is its desire to promote and develop young men that are respectful, compassionate, sensitive, refined, moral and ethical in their relationships with all members of society and our natural environments. Yesodei HaTorah College aims at providing an education of Excellence in the areas of both religious Jewish and General Studies. The College promotes a pride in its students of their Australian heritage and its values of Democracy, Freedom of Religion, Inclusion and ‘A Fair Go For all.’ The aim of the College is to develop young citizens who show a strong regard and respect for the principles, values and traditions of their Jewish and Australian identities. At Yesodei HaTorah instruction in Religion is an integral part of the college’s educational curriculum. The College prepares students for life in a changing, pluralist society, and nurtures effective, responsible and contributing citizens aspiring to positions of leadership and accomplishment in both the Jewish and wider community.
