Seems like leadership only cares about the school looking good for marketing, as compared to real student experience and learning.
Students are left with their voices unheard and feel that VCE is not worth the money; public schools get better results than this school, and many teachers make it seem like teaching is a burden to them rather than being passionate about their career.
The student experience is very average, including facilities, where younger students are given many fun experiences to give a good impression of the school, while senior students and parents easily see past the ‘perfect’ cover of the school. Misbehaviour from one group of students results in consequences for the whole school, including denying bathroom privileges, at an all-girls, teenage school, where girls need to urgently go to the bathroom, and must wait in lines at certain times because everyone needs to go, instead of just punishing said students and allowing others to continue about their day.
Honestly, behind the school’s very hardworking marketing team, it seems that, really, all they care about is our money, which seems to disappear before anything meaningful is done.
