Anson Street School

Anson Street School (School for Specific Purposes) caters for students with moderate and severe intellectual disability. A large number of students have communication, motor and sensory impairments, and many have high support needs. The school is purpose-built with full wheelchair accessibility and enclosed corridors linking all classrooms. There are a number of specialist areas, including four kitchens, large toilet/bathroom/laundry facilities, a spa, an industrial arts facility, a sensory room and gymnasium/hall. An individual education plan is provided for each student, with programs being developed by staff in collaboration with parents and caregivers, and other relevant personnel.
