Tallowood School

Tallowood School provides educational programs for students with special needs from K to Year 12. The school ethos fosters positive self image, personal and social competence through the implementation of a broad curriculum from the Key Learning Areas and the secondary Life Skills program. There is a strong emphasis on communication, social skills, independence in daily living and preparing students for community life. Families/caregivers, teachers and therapists determine learning priorities and content. Students are offered both functional learning and quality of life epxeriences both in the school and community setting.
