Alexander White - Mount Waverley

$35 per 30 Minutes, $50 per 45 Minutes, $60 per hour.

Currently Head of Strings at Mount Waverley Secondary College, and violin/viola tutor at MacRobertson Girls’ School, Alexander specialises in providing a proficient technical foundation and musicianship to students of all levels. Alexander is experienced in preparing students for AMEB examinations (Violin/Viola/Theory), VCE Units 1-4, music scholarships/university auditions, and eisteddfods.

Having studied at the Victorian College of the Arts and Monash University he is the recipient of the following qualifications;

Bachelor of Music (Performance) with First Class Honours
Honours Degree in Advanced Musical Performance Studies with First Class Honours
Masters of Arts (Music Performance)

Alexander has performed throughout Europe and America, and performs regularly with the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic at the Melbourne Recital Centre, The Arts Centre, Deakin Edge Federation Square, Iwaki Auditorium (ABC Southbank Centre) and 3MBS live broadcasts.

Alexander is a passionate teacher that believes every child is capable of developing great musical ability in a nurturing and supportive environment. All students are taught to read music fluently from the outset.
