Canberra Grammar School Northside - early childhood campus

The School understands the importance of a carefully planned and balanced early childhood programme. The Early Years at Canberra Grammar School provide a rich learning experience, valuing the importance of play and the building of a strong foundation from which literacy and numeracy skills will develop.

Located on the Northside of Canberra in Campbell, this intimate learning environment caters for one hundred boys and girls from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 2. Closely connected to the rest of the School, the staff and students enjoy the benefits of being part of a small community which is strongly supported by the resources and community of the broader life of Canberra Grammar School.

There is a strong emphasis on the partnership between children, teachers and caregivers. Open communication is fostered and caregivers are encouraged to be part of the School’s learning environment.
