Star Of The Sea Primary School

Star of the Sea is a triple stream school catering for children in our 3 year-old Kindergarten through to Year Six.  The Kindergarten programs are part time i.e. Pre-Kindy 3 Year Olds attend one-two full days per week and the Kindy 4 Year Olds attend 3 full days per week.

Every child is encouraged to reach their full potential through a broad curriculum which covers the areas outlined in the WA National Curriculum.  The curriculum includes tuition in the specialist areas of Science, ICT, PE, LOTE (Indonesian), HASS (History and Social Sciences) and Music.  Support is given to integrating Information and Communication Technology into classrooms across learning areas. There is an instrumental program, a support program for children with learning difficulties and those with special needs.  The school is well resourced and there has been a recent upgrade of computer infrastructure and facilities.  All classes have interactive whiteboards, and there are excellent sporting and playground facilities with a large oval.  Out of School Hours and Vacation Care is available on site.
